What is the difference between Content Creation and Social Media Management?
Content Creation is the act of creating the visuals used on social media which will become the posts, reels, or stories published on your social media page. This can be done through mediums like Photography, Videography, and Graphic Design.
Social Media Management refers to me managing your social media accounts by doing things like planning and publishing posts, engaging with followers, expanding your brand, and more. (See Section: Social Media Management)
While Social Media Management and Content Creation go hand in hand, they are two separate jobs and require two separate payments.
Why should I outsource my content creation?
Let’s be honest, none us of realized how much of our small business hours would be devoted to maintaining our social media accounts! I certainly didn’t realize that the first 4 hours of my Sundays would be spent creating content for my Photography account. Creating Content, as a photographer, is right up my alley. As a small business owner, your valuable time is already stretched so thin. Trying to set up the boundary between work life and home life sometimes feels impossible.
