Here's how I randomly rediscovered these decade old photos...

Ok picture this, a few weeks ago, I'm sitting on the couch, editing photos when I check my email and I have the strangest email that tells me I got a comment on one my original photography website’s blog posts. I was so confused because I thought “blog post?!”. So I clicked on it and it took me to…

A blog post with photos I did with a friend I made when I first moved out to New England (when I was living in Salem, MA). I totally forgot about these photos. Which is crazy because I really did love them. Now don't get me wrong, if I took these photos today (ten years later)….

I feel like they would definitely be better but for being photos I took ten years ago when my style was a bit different, I still love them. I am so glad some random person found my old website and commented on my blog so that I could rediscover these photos! And yes, those photos absolutely…

are what inspired me to create a blog here on White Muck. So that maybe ten years from now I'll be reminded of these posts and take another happy walk down memory lane!

Let's talk about photography in Boston

Boston is one of my favorite cities. So it’s a luxury to live close enough to go so often. And no matter how many times I go, there is always something new to photograph! So lets talk about some of my favorite areas to photograph in Boston!

My Favorite Spots to Shoot

(see below)

Beacon Hill:

Beacon Hill is such a beautiful section of Boston. Quaint shops, stunning Brown Stones, cobblestone allies. Immacuatley upkept, this neighborhood boats so much worth photographing. Great for street photography, architecture photography, and of course photographing people along the streets.

Boston Common:

If you’ve been to Boston, you’ve likely been to Boston Common. If you haven’t, why not?! It is such a beautiful example of how major cities should create and maintain green space. Stunning landscaping, beautiful gardens, calming pond, plenty of benches and trash cans. The Common is a totally different experience depending on the season. Watching the foliage change each year is such an incredible experience.

North End:

North End, famously the heavily Italian settled area of Boston is beautiful in a way similar to Beacon Hill but think Little Italy. Also filled with wonderful small businesses, Brown Stones, meandering streets, plus endless Italian Restaurants to choose from. If you come to Boston via train at North Station, you’re just a stones throw away from the North End.

So in short, yes! You can often find my camera and I wandering Boston. And so also yes, I’d love to be your photographer for your next Boston photo session! Who knows, maybe I’ll see you there soon!
