For Part 6 of my “I Do Fun Things In New England So You Don’t Have To”, I went to the Phillips House in Salem, MA! The tour guide described this home as if “the owners just popped down to the beach for the afternoon and we snuck in to take a peek” and this couldn’t be more true! The house looks completely active and currently lived in! The original owners left their furniture, books, decor, clothing, china, paperwork, art, etc. So it is hard to believe this home is now a museum and not a family home, still being lived in!
Not aware of this new IG Reels series I made? Heres a quick guide to it: The series is a quick 1 minute video; educational yet satirical at times. And I try to focus on one fun, weird, salacious fact from the place I visited (usually a historic home, museum, or historic site). So check out the Reels Series on my IG: @whitemuckphoto but for now enjoy some photos from the Phillips House!
